Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By using Almenar, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Almenar. By using the service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we collect and use your data.

2. Description of Service

Almenar is a web app that lets you visualize business metrics as interactive trees with trend analysis. The service is available in free and paid plans.

3. Account Terms

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Almenar cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

Each account is intended for use by a single person. You may not share your login credentials with others.

4. Free and Paid Plans

Almenar offers a Free plan and a Pro plan:

  • Free: 1 tree, up to 15 metrics. No payment required.
  • Pro: Unlimited trees, up to 100 metrics. $29 per month.

We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.

5. User Content and Data

You retain full ownership of all data you upload or create in Almenar, including your metric trees, metric values, and any data imported via CSV. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By using the service, you grant Almenar a limited license to store, process, and display your data to provide and improve the service.

Almenar allows you to generate view-only share links for your metric trees. Anyone with the link can view the shared tree. You are responsible for managing who has access to your share links and for revoking them when appropriate.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise the integrity of, or disrupt the service or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the service without prior written consent.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the service.

8. Intellectual Property

Almenar and its original content (excluding user data), features, and functionality are owned by Almenar and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the data and content you create within the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Almenar's total liability for any claims related to the service is limited to the total fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted after a reasonable period (no longer than 90 days), unless retention is required by law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Poland, subject to applicable EU jurisdiction rules.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law. Where these terms conflict with mandatory consumer protection laws, the mandatory provisions shall prevail.
